Let us help support you to continue your New Year momentum! SoCalRW’s Goals Challenge group can offer accountability and support during these next three months.

Let’s continue to plan those goals, move forward, commiserate, and celebrate each milestone, each victory, and each other!
Southern California Romance Writers will provide each participant with a S.M.A.R.T. Goals pdf workbook complete with habit tracker tools and a place to record your goals and your progress, a Google spreadsheet to record your progress so we can all cheer you on, forum access, and participant only monthly Zoom meetings to discuss any issues we’re having, any goal recalibrations, offering overall support, accountability, and celebrating the wins. In addition, we’ll meet in person once a month after the SoCalRW regular meeting.
You, as a writer participating in this Challenge, will need to make a commitment to your three-month goal. Make sure your goal is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Bound.
1. The Challenge runs from April 1st - June 30th.
2. Fill out the form below and pay the registration fee. The fee is $21 (members) and $26 (non-members).
3. Start thinking about where you’d like to be by June 30th.
-What goal do you want to accomplish?
-How do you break that far-reaching goal into smaller, more easily achieved monthly goals?
-You’re not alone in this – the workbook will help, plus we’ll be in contact with each other and never more than an email away.
4. There will be a Google spreadsheet for the three-month goals in order to keep track of progress – part of the accountability process. We’ll also call for your progress to be recorded at the end of each month on the spreadsheet, and weekly in our Groups IO forum.

Metrics: Mastermind #3
On Tuesday, 3/5, our amazing Celeste Barclay will lead us in a Mastermind seminar on Zoom about metrics, as a follow-up to January's marketing meeting.
Didn't attend the January meeting? No worries - you can still join in!
Based on your personal numbers, we'll learn how to set reasonable expectations and attainable goals. Today's presentation will highlight read-through rates and ad spend.

How to Self-Edit
Let’s talk about the difficult step before you hand your manuscript over to an editor — self-editing. Tedious, but necessary, learn to self-edit so that each project gets better and stronger with time.
All SoCalRW classes are non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by the instructor or SoCalRW.
If a class is cancelled, all students will receive a full refund within 30 days.

Sign up for the classes you are interested in. You may register until the first day of class – after that, registration will be closed.
You will be taken to a PayPal link to pay for each class, and you will be asked to create a name and password that you can use for all your SoCalRW classes, both now and in the future.
You will receive an email with a Zoom link on the day of the class. If you find our emails land in your Spam/Junk/Promotions folder, please mark them as Not Spam/Junk and add noreply@socalrw.com to your contacts.
