November 2020 Meeting

Join us on November 21, 2020 on Zoom!

Speaker: Eva Leigh

Join Regency-set romance author Eva Leigh as she shares her love of the ’80s music and movies and two fabulous workshops that draw on the concepts and techniques used in her Union of the Rakes series, where she effectively draws on traditional rom-com tropes to tell stories about less well-known aspects of Regency England, and her London Underground series which explored the darker corners of the period and the lives of criminals, sex workers and smugglers.

Support Literacy in San Diego

The November Meeting is traditionally, RWA San Diego’s Literacy Event. In the past, the chapter has contributed to the following organizations through funds raised during our November Literacy events:

United Through Reading: https://unitedthroughreading.org/
SDPL READ/San Diego Adult Literacy Program: https://www.sandiego.gov/public-library/central-library/read If their website is down, the Read/San Diego facebook group is useful.
San Diego Council on Literacy: https://www.literacysandiego.org/
Words Alive: http://www.wordsalive.org/

We hope that you will consider supporting one or more of these great, local organizations and help promote literacy this year.
